Tell u a short story: What does Bistro mean?

Something About France before I proceed my journey to Paris.

I believe some people have seen this word "Bistro". However, i also believe most of the people have no idea of what does Bistro mean at all.

In some cafe or restaurants,  the word "Bistro" is occasionally to be used in cafe's sign, especially French restaurants, or bar.

In general, people think that bistro is a kind of word which referred to "café , upscale, bar, drink, or restaurant" and the word bistro is originally come from French. If you associate bistro to French language, you are wrong.

Yes, I was wrong until I known the real meaning of "Bistro" after I was listened to a French who explained "Bistro" in somewhere Paris.

Originally, the word Bistro is not a term of French language. Bistro was being used by Russian soldiers who occupied in French during earlier 19th.

Russian soldier or diaspora in France didn't like to say "HURRY, HURRY, HURRY" in French Language while they ordered somethings in France's restaurants or bar.

In other words, Russian soldiers preferred to shout "BISTRO, BISTRO, BISTRO" in their own language instead of French to order their beverage. Or maybe they said "Bistro" while they were drunk.

So, sooner or later, when the time was passed, the word Bistro have become a common word in France.

Now, today the new meaning of the word "Bistro" is "once you order, your food will delivery as fast as possible. No waiting, but professional". In other explanation, Bistro means "Fast food restaurant or café or a bar", for example, Bistro Delifrance chains in Malaysia.
