Irene hurricane is coming to my states, but meteorologist says Irene has downgraded the level from categorized 2 hurricane to categorized 1 hurricane, or heavy tropical storm.
This morning 7:27am, i got an message from boss, today pharmacy is closed. I don't need to go to work today. So I'm happy and I can rest at home.
Not just our shop is closed, even public transportation like subway and bus and schools are forced to close.
Every neighbors in Categorized A, B and C is in emergency zone. Categorized A is being ordered to evacuated for more safety place. Whereas resident of B and C must be beware. Irene may cause a certain level of devastating flood or tide in area A, B and C.
Unlucky, my apartment is in Categorized C, still in dangerous zone.
Irene is being predicted by meteorologist so strong, but the exact power of Irene can be varied, or changed, may be being weaken.
Before the storm come in, and in case of emergency, our family had bought some food and drink in supermarket. Because Supermarket would be closed at this noon 12pm and tomorrow.
i look through my window, it's raining now.
Update 8/28 10:20am* Although my place is not flooding, in some areas are still heavily affected by Irene.
