getting smarter

People protest about the exploitation of the rare earth in Pahang. The protection doesn't mean they intend to jeopardize the social order in Malaysia, but rather than that, people in the neighbor just want to alert our government, that our local interest have already been neglecting.

They barely want the unpolluted environment back to as before, and everyone of whom are living in the state of good health, but not the situation right now, all people are worrying about the radiation of the remnant of rare earth. Everyday is nightmare; thinking of the toxic water and polluted air. How terrifying that could be happenned to our children, and offspring which the radioactive minerals are proven that it ability to mutate the gene into a malicious cell and contributing to Cancer diseases.

Government is now concerned with the rare earth issue and already ordered for the report of independent study by IAEA. "with forced by our people, passive!!"

Irony, ur government is too busy for their high GDP numbers, but out of the their Mega projects, investments and seeking for national revenues from other countries, our little grassroots interests have always been long ignored.

NOTE: although US has abundant rare earth in their soil, there still has the strictest rare earth mining law in the world. Up until now, US is still restricting the mining of rare earth. Why? because they know the dangerous of the rare earth. It is emitting radiation.

These developed countries prefer to get the radioactive resources from the third countries because most of the developing governments are NEVER care for their people but interest of themselves 1st.. thats why Lynas Aus. Int chooses Malaysia. A country which loose of laws and lack of transparency in details. And these people here has low social awareness too.

For me, for all our malaysian people, I think that is the good start for all our people to realize about it, what is the important of the social awareness. How these decision of the society, law and government have made would impact to us, how it would affect to our living standard. we the people choose them as "the government", they supposed to are behalf of our VOICE. "we say NO, our government should say NO too.". we should align with each others.

We must learn from the developed country, what is right and good for us, our people, we learn for it. Purely pursuing a high living standard is not enough, we must learn how to shape our nationality with more responsible and social awareness/self-awareness.

learning from the news, other than rare earth's news... Malaysian people are getting smarter and smarter in defending for their interest. We should choose a government which know how to care about their people.. that's it. ... yet.. we are learning... no return..
