Say no to shark fin soup. I decide that on my wedding ceremony will not including shark fin soup, one of a traditional Chinese delicacy in wedding menu.
Somehow, I'm worry to say that the population of the shark has decreased tremendously in this decade. Hunting for a Shark in deep ocean is being a lucrative business as more and more richer Chinese people could afford to the costly shark fin's price. It's impossible to discourage people not to consume shark fin soup since the economy and life style of Chinese people has been getting much better and better. They may have the right to eat these delicate food. It is more likely a rich American willing to donate his whole money to society firm than the Chinese people. Yet.. they 1st time own these money.. willing to spent more than donate. Cultures play the rule too.
Besides, the similar case like Japanese people hunting for Salmon even thought their government is also keeping silent for the embarrassing issue. Because salmon is also one of their fundamental food in their sushi menu.
In united states, what i know so far right now is Hawaii is one of the states which ban for the hunting of shark as a purpose for protection. Many of the environmentalists are concerned about the issues. They hope the ban and the existing measurement can leave a free harmful place for breeding, not just shark itself, but other variety of undersea species.
Honestly, Shark fin itself have no taste. The taste basically come from the seasoning of traditional recipes'.
Secondly, Shark has the low rate of reproduction and late maturity. They hard to grow completely adult in such a high commercial and intense environment like this today as shark fins have an exceedingly demanding.
3the decreasing of shark would give an uncountable impaction to the sea ecosystem. Shark itself is a good predator to harmonize the food chain in the deep oceans. Their role is important.

I do support with ur opinion n if they really wan to use shark fin then is better to replace with the lobster bcoz their price quite similar at all n quantity of lobster is much more compare with the shark. furthermore,we already have artificial culture lobster whereas we still dun have artificial culture of shark yet.
